Carrie Shaw is the Founder and CEO of Embodied Labs, a platform for virtual reality soft-skills training. She has won numerous technology awards, most recently the grand prize at AARP’s National Caregiving Innovation Pitch Challenge. In addition to her past experience in technology and research, she served as a volunteer with the US Peace Corps, translating for doctors and nurses, creating content for health education materials, and teaching students in the Dominican Republic. She holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
