Nicole Heidbreder, MA, BSN, RN is a Labor and Delivery and Hospice Nurse living in the Washington DC area. She is a DONA International Birth Doula Trainer and an End of Life Doula Trainer with INELDA. Nicole is also a Faculty Educator for Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. In 2016 Nicole was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honors Society, in recognition of her role as a leader in the field of nursing. Nicole is a student of Thich Nhat Hanh and uses mindfulness practices and integrates the best of research-based reflections on resiliency in her trainings for both birth and death doulas.
