Dr. Lisa Glantz is a neonatal nurse practitioner at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa and a pediatric nurse practitioner at UnityPoint Health in Marshalltown, Iowa. Lisa has been an NNP for over 15 years and a PNP since 2016. She previously practiced as a bedside nurse and a transport nurse in the NICU, giving her an excellent perspective on all aspects of neonatal care from the delivery room to discharge. Lisa is also a clinic assistant professor at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, teaching primarily in the NNP program.
Lisa completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner qualifications at the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2016. She received her Master of Science in Nursing with a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner focus from Rush University in Chicago in 2004 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa in 2001.
In all of her “free” time, Lisa loves raising her 10 year old son, spending time with friends and family, cooking, and adventuring in her yard and abroad with her love Paul.
