Dr. Hoffman has over 37 years in the field of neonatal health care. She completed her Masters in Perinatal/Neonatal Health at the State University of StonyBrook and her DNP at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She was previously the NNP Track Coordinator and Clinical Faculty at UAB and the University of Florida. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Rush University in Chicago in the DNP-NNP track. She has a clinical practice with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) providing coverage at PeaceHealth Southwest in Vancouver, Washington. She joined FANNP as a NNP student and was so inspired by not only the FANNP Board but also the members who offered a wealth of knowledge, that she wanted to give back to the organization and became the conference chair of the annual conference soon after graduating. She has remained on the conference planning committee and looks forward to assuring quality content for the seasoned NNP (when the advanced track returns next year) as well as the student NNP studying for their certification exam. She has served as President-Elect, President, and Past President and currently as a Member-At-Large. Jacqui was part of the original Council for the National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NANNP). She has authored several book chapters in textbooks targeted for the NNP. She is a nationally known speaker as well as has presented several poster presentations on Case Studies. Her proudest achievement is her son who has given her the priceless gift of three beautiful grandchildren that she and her husband love to spoil, which explains why she moved from Florida to the state of Washington earlier this year.
