Emily Gorlewski, Ed.D., is Director of Study Abroad in the Fries Center for Global Studies at Wesleyan University. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota in the Ed.D. for International Educators program in the department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development. She has served in leadership positions with the Forum on Education Abroad, NAFSA’s Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship national team, NAFSA Region V, and International Educators of Illinois. She has presented many sessions and workshops at conferences such as NAFSA, Forum on Education Abroad, and Diversity Abroad, and authored the “Partnerships and Advocacy” chapter in the fourth edition of NAFSA’s Guide to Education Abroad for Advisers and Administrators. She received a Fulbright International Education Administrators grant to Germany in 2010.
