Christopher J. Rini, MS

Chris Rini is an Associate Director-Biomedical Engineering in the Parenteral Sciences Center of Excellence at BD Technologies & Innovation, leading and collaborating with cross-functional product development teams on translational research from early stage product concept evaluation activities and downstream through the design control process for product performance verification and early phase clinical feasibility studies. Chris received his BS in Zoology with a Minor in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Master's of Science in Bioengineering from Clemson University focusing on characterization of protein adsorption on biomaterial surfaces. Chris has 19+ years experience in R&D product development, including experimental design and conduct of bench, preclinical, and clinical studies within the medical device arena for injection/infusion devices and technologies, novel implantable sensors, and laparoscopic surgical devices.
