As part of the senior management team at DCA, Malcolm Boyd leads development programmes within DCA's medical and scientific sector. He has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath and has been working in the field of medical device development for over 15 years. Through this time he has run a variety of large and strategically important projects for multiple global companies, covering fully mechanical products to complex electro-mechanical system developments and spanning a number of different hand held and body worn drug delivery devices through to high technology next generation imaging and therapy equipment. Malcolm's experience covers a wide range of development activities, from project strategy and planning to intellectual property mapping, detailed integrated design, industrialisation, and production support.
