Siva Paramanandam has been a Principal Engineer and Senior Manager for Amgen for 8 years. Siva is a Systems Engineer with a foundation in medical device development, electrical engineering, software, manufacturing and testing. Siva comes to Amgen by way of Medtronic Diabetes, where he helped develop continuous glucose monitoring systems and insulin pumps for type 1 diabetes. At Amgen, he has led numerous combination products through design, development, verification, human factors, submission and launch: Including the Enbrel AutoTouch® with Enbrel Mini® and the Repatha® Prefilled Syringe. Currently, Siva is Senior Manager in the physical test methods group at Amgen. Before medical devices, Siva was a principal engineer and consultant in the semiconductor test industry for 17 years. Siva has been on the road selling the Enbrel AutoTouch as an example of Patient Centric Design to Doctors, Nurses, and Amgen Sales Representatives. He is a Medtronic stent recipient and Amgen Repatha patient battling with coronary heart disease every day.
