Coleen Ellis, CT, CPLP, refers to the chance encounter with a grieving pet parent in 1998 as her defining moment. Following the death of her dog Mico in 2004, Coleen’s been a trailblazer in pet end-of-life services. In 2009, she launched Two Hearts Pet Loss Center to mentor and coach those who wished to provide dignified pet death care services to their community. She also co-founded The Pet Loss Center, an enterprise that blossomed to more than 10 locations in four states, serving in excess of 120,000 pets annually. She now works exclusively at her Two Hearts consulting practice.
