Dr. Chiang has more than 30 years of professional experience in hydrogeology and software engineering. At WEI, Dr. Chiang’s mission is to develop cutting-edge software tools to support the work of WEI staff and clients. His areas of expertise include hydrology, groundwater modeling, statistical analysis, computer visualization, and software development. Dr. Chiang developed Processing Modflow, which is a graphical user interface that supports the groundwater and surface water models, such as MODFLOW, GSFLOW, and MT3D-USGS. Dr. Chiang received a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Kassel, Germany in 1998.
