Julia Barfield is a Project Manager in The Nature Conservancy’s Water Program. Julia is collaborating with farmers, agencies, researchers, and other nongovernmental organizations to advance a multi-benefit approach to on-farm groundwater replenishment. Her current work is focused on Ag-MAR demonstration projects in disadvantaged communities in Colusa County that recharge groundwater and provide agronomic benefits and habitat for migratory birds when and where they need it.
