Ricardo Medina

Ricardo Medina, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral research associate at the Orange County Water District (OCWD) in Fountain Valley, California. Dr. Medina has a background in groundwater resource management, groundwater modeling, contaminant fate and transport, and suspended particles flowing through fractured rocks. Dr. medina has over 10 years of engineering research experience, including designing and executing bench and field-scale experiments, data analysis, data and statistical analysis, and report writing. Dr. Medina works at the Field Research Laboratory in Anaheim, CA, conducting applied research aimed at understanding the mechanisms controlling percolation decline of groundwater recharge basins.
