Karandev Singh

Karandev Singh is a Senior Water Resources Engineer at California Department of Water Resources, Division of Planning (DWR-DOP). Most recently, he represented the Department as a lead CalSim modeler in the renegotiation of Coordinated Operations Agreement, Voluntary Agreements, and CVP-SWP Incidental Take Permit application. At DWR-DOP, Karandev’s work focuses on evaluating the possibility of using Flood-MAR for sustainable conjunctive-use management of surface water and groundwater resources and addressing vulnerability from climate change. He is currently leading the effort on developing metrics to communicate the potential of Flood-MAR operations in attaining multi-benefits at the watershed-scale.
