Erika is the Founder and CEO of WiserWay Media, a young, vibrant and progressive marketing and creative services agency with a combined 25+ years of marketing, design, web and mobile experience. WiserWay provide a full spectrum of diverse and affordable creative communications tools and media services. WiserWay is an agency dedicated to inspiring social change through the brand message to "Be the Change," preferring to work with businesses that grind hard to make a difference in the world!
Erika Wise is also the Marketing Business Advisor for the San Diego Small Business Development Center (SBDC) with the responsibility of providing aspiring and current small business owners free business and marketing consulting, including facilitating marketing workshops.
Prior to joining SBDC, Erika worked in strategic business development and marketing at several companies, including civil engineering, commercial construction, medical, non-profit religious organizations and churches.
Notable is her tenure as Marketing Coordinator at Swinerton Builders in the Solar Renewable Energy division where she lead the marketing efforts and worked in conjunction with a team of engineers and estimators to win the company's largest solar and construction project in its 125-year history, totally $500 Million!
Erika graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Design from Full Sail University.
Erika is a member of the University of Florida Black Alumni Association and sits on the National Board as the Vice President of Communications.
