Since 2014, Mrs. Smith has worked as a Financial examiner with SBA's Office of Entrepreneurial Development. Prior to joining OED, Mrs. Smith worked with the SBA Office of Credit Risk Management for 12 years. She worked as a Supervisory Financial Analyst responsible for managing a team which conducted reviews of 7(a) Lenders in SBA Regions 3, 4, and 6. She has also worked as a Program Analyst in the SBA Microenterprise Development Guaranty Program, servicing and monitoring 40 micro-lenders and grantees participating in SBA's national direct loan and grant programs.
