Tisha Dodge, a SBDC volunteer for over 14 years, understands the challenges of entrepreneurs. Her law firm, Dodge Legal Group, SPC, provides legal services to start-ups, small businesses, social enterprises, and non-profits. She has incorporated hundreds of startups and helped them grow over her 24 years practicing law. Tisha provides legal advice as a lawyer and practical advice as an entrepreneur who developed her own law firm through SBDC training. She was able to double her annual income in her first 6 months. She volunteers at SBDCs to give back to the community that helped her.
As an entrepreneur herself, Tisha works to stay on the cutting edge of her own industry. As a pioneer in social enterprises, she created the first Texas Social Corporate Law Firm and filed the first Texas Public Benefit Corporation, StartUp Greater Good, PBC, which supports social impact businesses. She also serves as an Adjunct Law Professor at Texas A&M University School of Law in its Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, providing entrepreneurial services to underserved communities while simultaneously training law students, lecturing on Business Entities. She has also been selected to provide seminars to other lawyers on setting up their own law firms and is the business lawyer for other lawyers. Tisha is certified in Enneagram Applications as accredited by the International Enneagram Association to empower her clients with greater leadership, relationship building, and conflict resolution through increased self-awareness. She is licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance as a Property & Casualty General Lines Agent.
