Dr Helen Marshall is a Senior Associate at the Social and Global Studies Centre (formerly Centre for Applied Social Research), Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.Helen's PhD thesis introduced her to qualitative research and to  NVivo. She is now a certified expert user who has taught NVivo to researchers from many disciplines in many settings. She coordinates the Qualitative Interest Group- a network of researchers who meet monthly in Melbourne to discuss research methods.
