Rachel Shanks is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen. She researches children’s rights in education, mentoring and professional learning. She is a co-investigator of?the Measuring Quality of Initial Teacher Education?(MQuITE) project in Scotland. She teaches how to use NVivo to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and staff.
