Margaret “Maggie” Stedt

Margaret “Maggie” Stedt is Independent Contractor/Licensed Agent and Consultant.  She is a Certified Senior Advisor and a member of NAHU’s Leading Producers Round Table at the Soaring Eagle Level.  Mrs. Stedt has over 40 years of experience in essential areas of the insurance industry including sales, sales management, product development and product management and compliance.
 
Maggie currently is President of Stedt Insurance Services, Inc.  The firm specializes in consulting services and sales of insurance products including Medicare HMO, PDP and MediGap, individual life, health and group insurance products. 
 
Maggie is CAHU’s President for 2020-2019 and served as the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) Region 8 Membership Chair 2014 – 2018 and on the NAHU National Medicare Advisory Committee from 2016-2020.  She is a Past President of Orange County Health Underwriters (OCAHU) serving two terms.
 
OCAHU recognized Maggie in 2019 with the Pinnacle Award for outstanding service to OCAHU and the insurance industry.  She was awarded the NAHU Presidential Citation Award for 2017, the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Health Underwriters in 2016 and CAHU’s Presidential Citation in 2016.
 
Maggie is the founder of the Senior Medicare Summit that has grown from 200 attendees in 2012 to close to 1,000 attendees annually and has actively promoted Medicare Summits throughout the association.  She is also the founder of the Medicare Builders Group.
 
Maggie is a Distinguished Toastmaster and currently serves as a Lay Speaker and the Lay Leader for Palisades United Methodist Church in Capistrano Beach for 2019-2020.
 
Maggie and her husband of over 40 years, Jim, live in San Clemente, CA with 2 young kitties and enjoy spoiling their nieces and nephews plus an occasional trip to their local casinos!
