Carl Bonitto has over 17 years of procurement experience and received his CSCMP designation through the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada in 2009. He currently is on the Ontario Public Buyers Association Certificate program advisory board as an instructor teaching courses since 2010. He also sits on the Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics advisory committee at Loyalist College and is currently a Chapter Ambassador and the Certification Commission Chair – Elect for the NIGP. He gained his procurement experience in a variety of business sectors including Automotive, Technology, Food, Sporting Goods and Municipal government. His current role as the Manager of Purchasing and Risk Management Services for the County of Northumberland allows him to procure a variety of goods and services for their seven diverse departments. Items include Construction, IT, Long Term Care, Paramedics and Consulting services. On the Risk management side he manages all legal matters and claims received by the County.
