Brooke is an up and coming procurement professional with a true passion for the industry. She has over ten years of experience in the private business sector which brings a different perspective to her role in public procurement. She currently serves as a Procurement Analyst for Lee County Board of County Commissioners. In addition, Brooke is attending the University of Florida earning her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. She is in her senior year and anticipates graduating this fall. Brooke's previous roles within procurement include Purchasing Agent for Lee County Port Authority and Administrative Assistant at a private water management company. Brooke has been actively involved in local and national public procurement associations where she has served as the Scholarship Committee Chair for Gulf Coast Association of Procurement Official's (GCAGPO) and is currently serving as Secretary of Gulf Coast Association of Governmental Purchasing Official's (GCAGPO); she is the Trade Show Committee Chair for Florida Association of Public Procurement Officer's (FAPPO) and on the Awards Committee for the Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP). Brooke is a strong and passionate procurement professional who has been mentored by individuals who have decades of knowledge within the procurement profession. Brooke's background and experience in both the private and public sector brings a fresh, energized perspective to procurement.
