Mariel Reed

Mariel Reed is cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of CoProcure, a venture-backed technology startup that helps public staff find, compare, and use cooperative contracts, for free. Before starting CoProcure, she served in the San Francisco Mayor's Office, where she helped scale the Startup in Residence program (STIR), a technology procurement program. STIR is a nationwide program connecting technology startups and dozens of local U.S. governments. She's passionate about connecting technology and government to maximize social impact. Mariel was an early employee at Coursera, a venture-backed education technology startup democratizing access to education. She studied International Politics at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and speaks Mandarin.
