Kathleen Muretti has served 20 years in Municipal Government with the City of Airdrie, Alberta and currently is Manager for Fleet, Building Operations, Waste & Recycling and Special Procurement Advisor and holds the Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) and Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO). She is a Past President and Board member of the Canadian Public Procurement Council (since 2005) and serves the CPPC as a member of the Training and Professional Development Committee and as CPPC’s Strategic Relations Representative. Kathleen represents the CPPC on the National Council for Public Procurement and Contracting (NCPPC) and serves on the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) Evaluation Committee. Kathleen is the current Board Chair for the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC) and is the first Canadian elected to this honor.
