Joe Benjamin has spent over 30 years working in public procurement for cities, counties and aviation authorities across the state of Florida. Joe worked in purchasing for the City of Tampa, before becoming a Purchasing Administrator for Orange County, Fla. He later returned to the Tampa area to serve as a Procurement Agent for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority and Tampa International Airport. Eventually, Joe’s career came full circle as he took the role of Senior Procurement Analyst for the City of Tampa. Throughout his career, Joe has utilized and advocated for Job Order Contracting (JOC) as an alternative procurement method. He has experienced the benefits of JOC firsthand across various public entities.
