Dustin Lanier, founder of Civic Initiatives and a Certified Public Procurement Officer, founded Civic Initiatives in 2010. Civic Initiatives has provided procurement transformation assistance in over half of the states in ten years, and currently has engagements in over ten states supporting operating model reform, spend management, procurement automation and emergency response projects. Prior to Civic Initiatives, Dustin held a variety of leadership roles related to strategic planning and contracting for ten years in Texas state government. Lanier served in key technology strategy and procurement roles as the director of Strategic Initiatives for the state CIO and the executive director of the state Council on Competitive Government. Dustin has a BS in Public Policy from Duke University.
