Gisella Higgins is the Director of Organizational Excellence and Chief of Staff for the University of Colorado, Procurement Service Center (PSC), with 19 years’ experience in Higher Ed Procurement and Supply Chain Management (public and private). The PSC supports all four CU campuses and includes Procurement and Contract Services, Payables and Travel Services, Strategic Procurement and Operations and Shared Services. Prior to joining the University of Colorado, Gisella supported strategic and operational activities for the UC San Diego and The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) procurement organizations. Over the course of her procurement career, she has led numerous technology implementations, process efficiency and strategic improvement initiatives in the P2P, S2P and Logistics arenas. Gisella is extremely passionate about the change and project management work that is essential to the success of organizational transformation. She is a certified PMP and a proud UC San Diego Alumni.
