Carol Wilson, C.P.M., is the Procurement Director for the State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services. Carol has worked in the procurement industry over 35 years starting as a Buyer for Aetna, Inc. and continued her role as a Purchasing Consultant at Aetna until 1997. In 1997 she joined the public sector in Procurement at the Department of Administrative Services and has served in various capacities including Contract Team Leader, Assistant Procurement Manager, and Director of Procurement which includes oversight of various programs including, contracting, supplier diversity, construction contractor pre-qualification, state and federal surplus, and p-card. Carol served on the NASPO Board of Director for eleven years, including a term as NASPO President and several years as NASPO Secretary-Treasurer.
