Daniel Chatlos, J.D.

Dan Chatlos is a licensed attorney with a diverse background in public-private partnerships and public policy. Dan currently serves as the Strategic Program Director for the Miami-Dade County Internal Services Department and is an integral member of the County's working group tasked with the evaluation of unsolicited proposals. Over the past three years, Dan has served as the project manager for the County Civil and Probate Courthouse project, which represents the County's first social infrastructure project delivered as a P3. In this role, he led a team of technical and financial experts in the successful negotiation of the $850 million contract. In 2017, he was tapped to serve on the Board of Directors for the Florida Council for Public Private Partnerships and was subsequently elected to serve as Secretary in 2018.
 
Dan's previous public sector experience includes serving as the Director of Policy and Legislation for a County Commissioner. In addition to his legislative experience, Dan has received prestigious public interest fellowships from Harvard Law School, K&L Gates, and the Public Interest Law Initiative. He is a former managing editor of the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy and a guest lecturer for the Florida International University College of Law.
 
Dan holds a B.A. from the University of Miami, M.P.P.A. from Northwestern University, and J.D. from the University of Florida.
