Keith Glatz, CPPO

Mr. Glatz has served in the field of public procurement for over 40 years, since 1978, and has been the Purchasing and Contracts Manager for the City of Tamarac, Florida since September of 2003. Prior to that date, Mr. Glatz held various public procurement positions with municipalities in Illinois, as well as 15 years with the State of Illinois. Mr. Glatz served in various volunteer capacities with NIGP - The Institute for Public Procurement and its various affiliated chapters. Mr. Glatz served on the NIGP Governing Board for 10 years and served as the Chair of the Governing Board from July 2015 through June 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Glatz was a past President of both the Southeast Florida Chapter of NIGP from 2006 to 2007 and the Illinois Association of Public Procurement Officials (IAPPO) from 1998 to 2003. Mr. Glatz was the recipient of both the 2007 NIGP Professional Manager of the Year Award and the 2019 NIGP Anne Deatherage Award for Meritorious Service. Mr. Glatz has also received the 2018 FAPPO Above and Beyond Award and the 2020 FAPPO George H. Wolf Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Glatz is a former adjunct faculty member at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, where he taught courses related to public procurement, and has conducted numerous training sessions for NIGP since 1995, where he attained the designation of Master Instructor.
