I am the Manager of the Family Child Care Pilot and PDG Birth-5 Strategy at the Louisiana Department of Education. In this position, I lead the work on managing and building strategy focused on incorporating family child care providers into the statewide early childhood network. I have a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Curriculum & Instruction as well as a Ph.D. in Teaching, Learning, and Culture. She has worked in a variety of early childhood education and care settings ( e.g. Military CDC, Secondary Lab Schools, Post Secondary Lab Schools). I have presented numerous professional development session, research studies and findings, leadership workshops, and parent education classes in various state on local, regional and national levels in various states and for various audiences.
