I am the current Chief Executive Officer of Early Childhood Options in Cleveland Ohio since 2006 and have currently been employed at the agency for 25 years. My background is a Master's in non-profit management and specializing in child care development. I facilitate a host of child care development trainings to a network of family child care providers and child care staff. In addition, I am the President of the Black Child Development Institute - Cleveland, the Affiliate of Ohio and our mission is to improve and advance the quality of life for black children and families through education and advocacy. Our goal is to link resources and create resources to build the capacity of parents, children, and educators as we attempt to eradicate disparities and inequities. I presented with a colleague a few years ago at NAFCC on the topic of Diversity. I have been currently facilitating trainings around the screening of Pushout, and other topics that will address implicit biases. I am an NAFCC Observer, hold a BBA, MMG, and SHRM-CP while serving on many child related committees.
