Neil Hemmer, MSW, QMHP

Neil has been suffering with OCD since he was born, his very first episode was from age 5 until around age 12. He had a fear of storms and medical OCD in which he checked his body several hundred times a day for signs of death. His first therapy experience was at age 13 when he was treated for contamination OCD for a year. His longest episode to date was religious scrupulosity from the age of 15 until 18. Neil received his Masters in Social Work from Southern Illinois University in 2019.
