Dr. Michele Pato is Director of the Institute for Genomic Health and Executive Director of the Clinical and Translational Science Center at SUNY Downstate, and a Professor/Vice Chair for Research of Psychiatry. In addition to clinical research in OCD she has co-led the Genomic Psychiatry Cohort (GPC) and Portuguese Island Collection Studies. These extensive genetic collections for over 24 years in schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and most recently OCD include over 40,000 participants.
