Dr. Piacentini is Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA Semel Institute where he directs the Child OCD, Anxiety and Tic Disorders Program and the Center for Child Anxiety, Resilience, Education and Support (CARES). His research focuses on the development and dissemination of science-based treatments for child OCD, Tourette's and related disorders. His clinic has treated over 1000 children and families and he has trained hundreds of clinicians worldwide in CBT and ERP.
