Brittany Milan began her dance journey at the age of 2. She grew up dancing at her mother’s dance studio, Summit Dance School, in Detroit Lakes, MN. After graduation Brittany went on to receive a BFA in Dance at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Since her graduation in 2006 she has been actively performing, choreographing and teaching in the Minneapolis area. Some of her performance credits include performing with Ananya Dance Theatre (a contemporary Indian dance company) in Minneapolis, Trinidad and Tobago, HIFA-Africa, and more. She has taught at local theater companies, preschools, daycares and elementary schools. Since 2012 she has been the owner, director, and teaching at Elevé Performing Arts Center in Bloomington, MN. Now she is working on developing her preschool program Little Dippers DanceTM, which is marketed toward preschools and daycare centers. Brittany is a proud I.D.E.A. member and a true believer that we are as good as the company we keep!
