Dr. Ronald Machoian is the international safety and security director and a senior lecturer of international studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a role he has held since retiring at the rank of colonel from the U.S. Air Force in 2014. He previously served as the director of international programs at the U.S. Air Force Academy where he also was a professor of strategic studies. He has served on a Secretary of the Air Force advisory committee on regional and culture education and was an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow with a focus on experiential education (2012-13).
