Maureen Gordon is the Director of Health, Safety, and Security for the College of Global Studies at Arcadia University. She is responsible for crisis management, developing and maintaining The College’s emergency protocols and policies, collaborating with overseas staff on risk assessment, program safety and security, and training staff on health and safety issues. Maureen has worked in higher education for more than 15 years and spent the majority of her career administering Temple University's study abroad programs in Italy, Japan, and Spain. She has presented widely on health and safety in education abroad at NAFSA and the Forum on Education Abroad, and is an active member of the Overseas Advisory Council (OSAC) Academic Working Group and Pulse: Higher Educational International Health and Safety Professionals. Maureen holds a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, both from Temple University.
