Ms. Sterling in the inaugural HSS officer for CET Academic Programs. Prior to joining CET, she was the Associate Director of Study Abroad at the University of Pittsburgh, where she designed, built, and ran the university's HSS functions for traveling students and faculty. Originally trained as a Chinese historian, she also served two summers as faculty director of Pitt in Shanghai, where she collaborated with CET. She is dedicated to keeping her students, overseas staff, and visiting faculty informed, engaged, and as healthy as possible.
