Allie Oberoi is the Assistant Director for Global Safety and Risk Management at Virginia Tech, assessing risk for overseas travel, monitoring ongoing international developments, and connecting travelers with the right safety resources for their trip. Allie is also a United States Army Officer in the Virginia National Guard. She received a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a focus in crime and deviance from Virginia Tech in 2010, and received a master’s degree in human resources and an organizational leadership certificate from Brandman University in Irvine, California in 2014.
