Rita  Trinklein

With over 15 years of experience in leading, managing, coaching and mentoring teachers, home visitors and other early childhood professionals, Rita Trinklein has a passion for providing high quality care and education to children and families.  In her current position as the Home Visitation Specialist at the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Great Start, Rita works with Intermediate School Districts and community organizations who provide evidence-based home visiting to children and families in Michigan.  In addition, Rita is an adjunct instructor at Baker College where she enjoys teaching undergraduate students in the field of early childhood education.  Rita also has experience with non-profit, private childcare and Head Start/Early Head Start where she spent several years developing programs, teachers and home visitors.

With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education, Rita has a diverse background in the field of early childhood education and enjoys meeting and sharing experiences with other early childhood professionals.
