Dr. Dave Lockhart is the site manager of the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) field office. In this position, he leads Boeing’s local global marketing and sales effort and serves as the principal Boeing interface to the DOD and U.S. Army customer community at APG and Army Team C5ISR more broadly. He is principally focused on aligning Boeing capabilities with Army C5ISR needs/requirements.
Dave brings a wealth of experience from both industry and the government. Prior to working for Boeing, Dave was the director of programs for SAIC; served in the U.S. Army for 32 years, retiring in May 2011. Dave has several degrees ranging from an Associates to a Doctorate in Management from the University of MD Global Campus.
He is married with two sons and one grandson. Hobbies include frequent cruises, reading, ping pong, and tennis. Tennis is the only sport that Dave liked well enough to spend the time and energy continually playing. Believe it or not, he also does Yoga, Modern Dance, and Ballroom Dancing. He does have a bit of an adventurous streak – jumps out of airplanes; rappels down mountains; and does some mountain and rock climbing.
Finally, Dave sits on several local advisory boards in the Harford and Baltimore County area, focused on helping organizations that are in the community helping those who are not as fortunate as some of us.
