Claire has over 29 years of military expertise and experience in Cyber, Network Operations, IT R&D, and as a Congressional Liaison while serving as a US Army Officer. She has deployments to Southwest Asia as the Director of the Southwest Asia Regional Cyber Center, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait and Director for Congressional Affairs for Headquarters, Resolute Support, Kabul, Afghanistan.
She also held several executive level cyber and information technology jobs in the Department of Defense which include Chief of Staff and Assistant Chief of Staff, G3 for the 311th Theater Signal Command, Fort Shafter, HI and Deputy Director for Cyber at Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (OUSD AT&L).
Claire earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Siena College, a M.S. in National Security Studies from the National War College and a Ph.D. in Science and Technology Studies from Virginia Tech. She is an Adjunct Professor at University of Maryland Global Campus for the Masters Degree in Cybersecurity and serves on the Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital Advisory Board.
