Michael is a director in Alerus’s Minneapolis nationwide ESOP fiduciary services practice, focusing on both transactional and ongoing ESOP fiduciary engagements. Michael has extensive experience working through several ESOP-related issues, including annual valuations of privately-held stock, repurchase obligation, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, ESOP terminations, and purchases and sales of company stock. Michael received his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
