Rena is currently working at King County in Seattle, WA, as Supervisor of the Strategic Partnerships and Analytics Team. In this role, she works with a team of almost 20 individuals who support both internal and external customers. Prior to King County, she worked in both the public and private sector for over 25 years. She is an active member of the WA Chapter and National NIGP since 2010 and is currently President of the WA State Chapter. She earned her Certified Professional Public Buyer in April 2013 and Certified Purchasing Card Professional in November 2017. She has served on several committees, including Finance Committee, Honors & Awards and Scholarship Committee Chair. She is proud to be part of a professional organization that provides certifications, trainings, networking opportunities, and resources, to name a few. Her undergraduate studies were at Colorado Technical University. She has been married for over 36 years to her husband Royce and has one son who works for the Seattle Seahawks.
