Nicole Yacura is a former homeschooler who is now a student at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She was homeschooled for elementary, middle school, and half of high school. Her years of homeschooling helped her find her strengths and poise, to the point of which she was tutoring college students at the age of 16. Nicole will be graduating at 20 with her B.S. in Environmental Science and she plans to pursue her Ph.D. to become a research professor. She is currently a Research Assistant, content writer for Time4Learning, private tutor, and Resident Assistant. Homeschooling allowed Nicole to find and focus on her passion for the environment and gave her the skills necessary for research.
