Scot Morris, O.D.

International speaker, educator, author, and management consultant, Dr. Scot Morris is well known for his experience in ocular surface disease, technology, and practice management. He is recognized for both his expertise and his enthusiasm for helping professionals optimize their practices. Dr. Morris is widely published in professional journals, books, clinical references, and web-based resources. He also serves as chief optometric editor for Optometric Management and as a consultant to many eye care companies.

Scot is the operating partner of the eye-care consulting service, Morris Education & Consulting Associates. He is founder and senior technology consultant of Ocular Technology Solutions, Inc. He also serves as owner and medical director of Eye Consultants of Colorado. Scot is also a founding member of the National Student Practice Management Symposium Series. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association.

Dr. Morris earned his doctorate in optometry at Indiana University in 1996 and completed his residency in ocular disease and refractive surgery at Triad Eye Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He served as the cornea and refractive clinical director of Discover Vision Centers in Kansas City for five years before moving to Colorado in 2002. Dr. Morris practiced at a refractive surgery center in Denver for two years before acquiring Eye Consultants of Colorado.

Dr. Morris is a devoted family man. He lives in the mountains of Colorado with his wife Kelly and two sons. He takes pleasure in coaching his sons' sports teams and enjoys traveling with his family.
