She is the author of The Doula Business Guide and The Doula Business Guide Workbook and specializes in helping doulas become more business savvy. Patty has enjoyed a long career as a doula, childbirth educator and (now retired) homebirth midwife. She has been a self-employed small business owner her entire adult life.
