Explore the difference between understanding what the key performance indicators are at an institution, defining the start and stop dates, understanding the overlap of processes, and working collaboratively to determine the operational definitions. The end result is a metrics approach that is shared across the institution. The most critical part of this process is listening to the process-owners and understanding the different perspectives of each process cycle as we map time to activation of clinical trials.<br />
