Hosting foreign visitors enhances an institution&#39;s global engagement by adding a diversity of perspectives to institutional programming and research. This overview session will discuss the benefits of well-planned visits, strategies for preparing for the visits, and compliance considerations to be aware of to ensure the visit is successful for the visitor and for the institution. The session will focus particularly on the research administrator&#39;s role and contribution to the process. The presenters will provide departmental and small institution perspectives.<br />
