Getting our body to return to baseline status regarding blood pressure, heart rate, etc. is important when we&#39;re under stress. Peer Wellness Coach Julie Fann will lead a Body Scan activity that involves focusing our attention on each part of the body as well as our breathing to restore us to a state of calm and relaxation.<br />

Whether you have chronic pain due to a disorder, spending 40 hours a week at a desk, or it&rsquo;s time to part ways with that old mattress; there is a way to bring yourself relief from chronic pain.&nbsp; Through easy stretching and poses to provide a release for a tense muscles and to realign your posture, this small tutorial can help develop a go-to return anytime you need it.<br />

The Moving Easy Program (MEP) is an enjoyable way to safely improve your flexibility.&nbsp; It gently loosens muscles and joints and increases circulation.&nbsp; It incorporates the whole body and is not meant to be strenuous.&nbsp; The MEP consists of 26 movements that take about 15 minutes to do.&nbsp; Flexibility exercises and gentle strength training combine with better breathing to reduce stress and tensions.&nbsp; The program is safe for almost all people, including those with chronic pain.<br />

Kennith will lead participants through a series of chair exercises suitable for every activity level.&nbsp; The movements include: Seated calf raises, Seated backbend, Leg extensions, Seated Row, Air Punches, Finger stretch, and Seated crescent moon stretch.</span>
